Audio-Technica and the United States have introduced their new SonicPro series of in-ear headphones: ATH-CKR9 and ATH-CKR10. The two headphones are equipped with the patented dynamic circle technology of the Iron Triangle, which is outstanding in terms of sound clarity and accuracy in the mid-high frequency. The ATH-CKR10 features a unique double-acting arrangement and a titanium alloy cavity with a good surrounding feel, priced at $389.95. The ATH-CKR9 is equipped with the same dynamics technology, but with an aluminum alloy cavity. The price is 269.95 US dollars.
Both earphones of the Iron Triangle are equipped with a double-acting coil unit layout of "DUALPHASE PUSH-PULL DRIVERS" technology. The two sets of drive units are placed opposite each other, and the moving coil unit has a diameter of 13 mm. There is one unit above and below. The two units operate differently, driving one of the units by inputting a signal with the opposite phase, while the other unit is doing the opposite vibration. The advantage of this special two-cell structure is that it can still have very low distortion at a large volume, and it can guarantee the reduction of minute details in the full frequency range.
