The newly developed LED "GM4BN6F3S0A" for LCD backlights achieves a full luminous flux (brightness) of 8.3 lm at a high color performance of NTSC of 90%. This brightness is 12% higher than the 7.4lm of Sharp's previous product (GM4BN6B3S0A) (see our website). The company said that high brightness is achieved by improving the luminous efficiency of the blue LED chip, improving the package, and adjusting and optimizing the blending ratio of red and green fluorescent materials and colors.
