The blind zone of the ultrasonic liquid level gauge is different according to the different measuring ranges. If the range is small, the blind zone is small, and if the range is large, the blind zone is large. But generally between 30cm-50cm. Therefore, when installing the ultrasonic liquid level gauge, the blind spot must be taken into account. On special occasions, the blind zone will be required to be very small. In many fields of liquid level measurement, due to space limitations and installation conditions, an ultrasonic liquid level gauge with a small dead zone is required.
The liquid level of the ultrasonic liquid level gauge enters the blind zone, and usually displays the position of the liquid level corresponding to the second echo. For example, if the blind zone is 0.3m and the distance from the liquid level to the transducer (or probe) surface is 0.2m, the level gauge will display the liquid level value corresponding to the spatial distance of 0.4m. Because the liquid surface reflects well when measuring the liquid level, the sound pulses emitted by the ultrasonic liquid level gauge will be reflected back to the liquid surface after reaching the surface of the transducer (or probe) after being reflected by the liquid surface, and It is reflected back to the transducer again and received. The echo at this time is the second echo. If the reflection conditions are good, multiple echoes (echoes from multiple round trips) may also be received.
