Abstract: Light-pipe system can provide comfort lighting environment for people, by leading daylight into the underground building, blackout building and deep depth building, and it has a huge potential on energy conservation. In nowadays, with the shortage of energy, light- Pipe system is more and more concerned by people and it has a bright outlook.

Foreword

Natural light, as a valuable asset that nature gives to human beings, is an inexhaustible and inexhaustible source of green energy. It is also the most suitable light source for human evolution in the long-term evolution, but it has been used for a long time. People ignore. With the continuous emergence of problems such as the energy crisis and environmental degradation in recent years, it has increasingly attracted the attention of the world. The emergence of light pipe technology has undoubtedly opened up new avenues for people to make rational use of natural light resources. Especially in the past decade, with the rapid development of light pipe technology, a large number of light guide tube products with continuous promotion have emerged. The light guide tube is widely used in different spaces such as living rooms, shops, schools, sports places, factories and the like. According to a survey published by CIBSE's Building Journal (September 2003), approximately three million light pipe products have been installed worldwide as of the publication date.

With the rapid development of China's economy, the problem of power shortage has been paid more and more attention from all walks of life, and lighting power accounts for a considerable proportion of power consumption. According to statistics, China's lighting power accounts for about 12% of the country's total electricity consumption. In 2008, Beijing's lighting power consumption was 4.9 billion kilowatt-hours, accounting for 11% of the city's total electricity consumption. Therefore, lighting energy conservation has important practical economic, social and environmental benefits. Developing energy-saving products and making full use of natural light resources are undoubtedly an important way to solve energy shortages.

At present, the light guide tube is very limited in use in China. Therefore, through reasonable design, the active use of light pipe technology to provide lighting for all kinds of building spaces that are difficult to directly use lighting, is of great significance for energy conservation and environmental protection.
