Dr. Liu Guoxu, Executive Vice President of Yimeixinguang, was selected in the tenth batch of national “Thousand Talents Plan”

Recently, the Special Work Office of the Central Organization Department and the Overseas High-level Talents Introduction Office officially issued a notice. Dr. Liu Guoxu, Executive Vice President of Yimeixinguang, was selected as the country's tenth batch of “Thousand Talents Program” innovative talents long-term project.

The “Thousand Talents Program”, also known as the “Overseas High-level Talents Introduction Program”, is a brand project for the central government to introduce overseas high-level talents. It is mainly around the national development strategy. Starting from 2008, it will be introduced in 5 to 10 years. We will focus on supporting a group of strategic scientists and leading talents who can break through key technologies, develop high-tech industries, and drive emerging disciplines to return to China to innovate and start businesses.

Dr. Liu Guoxu graduated from Peking University with a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois. He has studied and worked in the United States for more than 20 years. He has worked in GM Delco Electronics, Intel, Lucent Bell Labs, Nortel and many other internationally renowned companies. He has accumulated semiconductor materials and IC modules. The core technology of optoelectronic devices and LED packages. He returned to China as the technical director of Luminus Company of the United States, and presided over the development of large-size, single-chip LED packaging technology. Its single LED device has a power of up to 100W, ranking the world's leading LED packaging. He is currently the executive vice president and chief technology officer of Yimeixinguang (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd., responsible for technology and new product development. He was employed as a member of the Expert Group of Semiconductor Lighting Engineering of the “863 Program” of the Ministry of Science and Technology. He has successively won the “Gaoju Project” in Zhongguancun, the “Haiju Project” in Beijing, and the overseas high-level talents in the development zone.

Dr. Liu Guoxu is the second expert of Yimeixinguang (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. after the president of Fan Zhencan won the eighth batch of national “Thousand Talents Program” entrepreneurial talents project. It highlights the talent strength and innovation ability of Yimeixinguang, and makes greater contributions to the cause of promoting energy conservation and consumption reduction and green lighting.
