Abstract: When including wireless communication technology in embedded systems, it is necessary to examine many key issues, including the effects of power switching noise, correctly setting the operating parameters of the radio integrated circuit, and ensuring that the transmission output meets the corresponding radio regulations.
MDOs can view time-related signals to help designers efficiently diagnose and test power and other noise effects. It confirms the correct setting of data commands sent to the radio and is able to check for spurious emissions from transmitters and other circuits. It can be used to measure RF signals up to 6 GHz, as well as low-frequency noise from switching power supplies and digital circuits through time-dependent acquisition.
