Hoods will accelerate the reshuffle of PEI industry

From October 1st this year, the “Energy Efficient Limits and Energy Efficiency Grades of Range Hoods” will be implemented, which means that range hoods will be “appearing” on the level. People in the industry believe that with the implementation of the new national standard, the kitchenware industry will usher in a new round of “shuffle”, which will be a big test for kitchenware companies.

On June 7 of this year, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine and the National Standardization Administration officially approved the release of the energy efficiency standard for hoods, GB29539-2013 Energy Efficiency Limits and Energy Efficiency Ratings of Range Hoods, which will formally begin on October 1 Implementation. The range hood energy efficiency standards stipulate range hood energy efficiency rating, energy efficiency limit value, energy conservation evaluation value, test methods and inspection rules, applicable to the installation in the upper part of domestic cooking stoves, stoves or similar appliances, rated voltage does not exceed 250V Exhaust range hood. Since most of the domestic range hoods in the Chinese market are platooned products, this means that mainstream products in the future market will need to meet the relevant requirements of the standard.

It is reported that the range of energy efficiency of the range hood is divided into five levels, mainly refer to the total pressure efficiency, standby power, shutdown power, normal odor reduction, oil emissions value of the five indicators for evaluation and grading. Among them, the limit value of the energy efficiency of range hood is 5, which is also the entry threshold of the future market.
