Method for connecting single-strand wire and terminal

When the wire ends are connected to the terminal block or pressed under the bolt, two points are required:

1. The contact surface is tight and the contact resistance is small.

2. The connection is firm.

To this end, the visible wire cross-sectional area is determined by the following method:

1. Single-strand copper conductors with a section of 10mm2 or less can be directly connected to the equipment terminals. The direction in which the wire ends are bent is generally clockwise, and the size of the circle and the length of the root are appropriate.

2. When the multi-strand copper conductor of 2.5mm2 and below is connected to the terminal, in order to prevent the wire end from loosening, a layer of solder may be applied to the end of the copper wire to make it like a whole strand, and then bent into a circle. Connect to the terminal block.

3. For multi-strand wires of 2.5mm2 or more, when the line is connected to the equipment, the terminal block (commonly known as the line nose) must be installed, and then connected to the equipment.
