Lianhefa will release 2 tablet chips

On the 23rd, MediaTek (2454) held a brand presentation in Beijing and announced that it will release two flat-panel wafers and wearable solution Aster.

MediaTek’s stock price is now trading on the plate, with gains up to 1%, and the highest rise to 463 yuan.

MediaTek shipments of flat wafers this year are expected to hit 40 million units, which is more than about 20 million sets last year. Currently, entry-level chips MT8312/8382, and high-end products have four-core MT8135. It is reported that MediaTek is expected to be released on Wednesday. Two flat-panel wafers, the quad-core MT 8127, attack the mid-range market, and there are still eight core MT8392 chips, including low-middle and high-end markets.

In addition, Aster, a wearable device solution previously exhibited at CES, is expected to be unveiled this time. The chip integrates Bluetooth 4.0 features, supports more than 80 languages, and works with Yahoo to provide APP support.

MediaTek’s previous release of the 4G LTE eight-core chip MT6595 at the China Electronics & Information Expo has yet to be seen.
