The algorithm also distinguishes between the recent language patterns of people with mental illness and the normal population, with an accuracy rate of 72%.

The study's author, Guillermo Cecchi, said that the research team will also share more research on other mental health conditions, including depression, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease and chronic pain.
