D-Link announced the introduction of Cloud 1200 and Cloud 2000 series routers with mobile connectivity and cloud storage capabilities.
The D-Link router, which looks like a coffee machine, supports the 802.11n Wi-Fi protocol, where the Cloud 1200 is a 2.4 GHz single-band 300 Mdps rate router and the Cloud 2000 is a dual-frequency 600 Mbps router with 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz.
In addition to Wi-Fi sharing capabilities, the Cloud 1200 and Cloud 2000 have USB interfaces that can be used to connect storage devices and share cloud content between devices such as music, video, and files. Android and iOS users can also install the SharePort App client provided by D-Link to connect the device to the network and access shared files.
Cloud 1200 and Cloud 2000 come with Mylink software for parents to control and manage users. Mylink also has a mobile version of Android and iOS, which makes it easy to control the router in your home when you go out.
Currently, the retail prices for Cloud 1200 and Cloud 2000 are $89.99 and $129.99, respectively.
