1. Replace the high-power bulb-it is to replace the 55 / 60W (H4) ordinary halogen bulb of the original car with a 90 / 100W high-power bulb, and the rest does not need to be changed. Modification method. The principle is to replace the original smaller bulb with a higher success rate
2. Install the headlight brightener-the headlights add light or brighten the line. The essence is to add light between the headlight and the battery to reduce the voltage loss of the line, so that the voltage across the headlight is basically close to the battery voltage, and the effect of adding light is small.
3. Modified Xenon headlights-Xenon headlights, that is, HID gas discharge lamps, which are mainly composed of xenon bulbs and ballasts. The ballast is also called high voltage generator or gas discharge rectifier. The HID lamp also has a set of mechanical attachments for transforming the far and near light. Unlike traditional halogen bulbs, HID bulbs have no filament, and the gap between the two poles of the bulb is 4mm. The positive and negative high voltages are used to stimulate the chemical reaction between xenon and rare metals to emit light. This is called gas discharge. Its light-emitting principle is that the ballast instantly boosts the 12V DC voltage on the car to a high voltage of 23000V. The gas medium in the high-voltage breakdown lamp generates a discharge arc and emits a brilliant high-color temperature light; The ballast converts the voltage to 83V, and supplies the xenon bulb to emit light stably and continuously, keeping the HID lamp running at a constant power.

1. The procedure for retrofitting HID headlights is also relatively simple, generally divided into the following 7 steps:
â‘ After the engine is completely cooled, remove the headlight lamp connector, waterproof rubber cover and old bulb;
â‘¡Remove the HID lamp kit, after careful inspection, install the HID bulb on the lamp holder of the headlamp, replacing the old bulb;
â‘¢ Drill a small hole in the rear of the waterproof rubber cover of the original car light to lead out the HID bulb harness, and make sure that the waterproof ring and the rubber cover are well sealed, and then fix the HID bulb;

â‘£Connect the input end of the ballast (12V DC power supply) to the power supply end of the headlights of the vehicle, some need to separately connect + 12V and ground, and connect the output end of the ballast to the connector of the bulb;
⑤ After checking the installation steps, confirm that the positive and negative poles are correct, start the vehicle, turn on the power and turn on the lights;
â‘¥ Check the height, distance and light shape of the light beam emitted by the light source, and make adjustments to make it meet the requirements of traffic regulations;
⑦ Fix the ballast in a proper position with good ventilation, good heat dissipation and reliable connection. The modification of xenon headlights is a relatively mature and easy modification, the key is to fix all the components, it does not need to modify the original car circuit, at most sometimes need to connect two additional power and ground wire
