Shengda Electric (3027) December 2010 revenue was NT$127 million, a decrease of 13.6% from the same period in 2009. Accumulated in 2010, it was self-contained to NT$1.552 billion, a slight increase of 3.6% from 2009. Benefiting from China's active promotion of energy conservation, Shengda expects high-performance LED drivers to have a substantial growth in 2011.
Shengda Electric said that in 2010, the company invested a considerable amount of resources in research and development and promotion of high-performance LED street light driver, smart street light management, smart grid products and multi-network access and other new product solutions, laying the foundation for the company's transformation. Fiber optics, smart grid and LED street lamp energy-saving new products will add new momentum to the 2011 operational growth.
New product high-efficiency LED driver, when the Chinese government will vigorously promote the construction of LED street lamps to achieve energy-saving and carbon-reduction targets this year, it is expected that high-efficiency LED drivers will have a chance to grow significantly in 2011.
