Smart home complete program: security, monitoring, remote control all done

I. Design Summary

In view of the lack of speed and stability of home monitoring systems and intelligent furniture control on the market, this topic will use FPGA programmable logic design to improve system control speed and stability. Most of the current home monitoring and intelligent control systems use wired or wireless devices to set up Ethernet, connect monitoring nodes to the monitoring center, and the monitoring distance is limited; some monitoring systems are still analog, video is not compressed or use MJpeg (Motion Joint Photographic Experts Group, Some early standards such as MJpeg) and Mpeg (MovingPicture Experts Group, Mpeg) have low compression ratio and poor network adaptability. These systems basically do not have automatic alarm function and fast control response, which requires manual guard, wastes manpower and material resources, and low reliability. The system designed by this project uses FPGA and GPRS network to transmit video data, and adopts efficient video compression algorithm, and designs and implements automatic alarm and fast intelligent control functions.

Second, the system principle

This project uses FPGA programmable logic device and GPRS technology to realize remote security monitoring and intelligent control. When someone invades or fires, it can send short messages to users in time to warn of some people intrusion or fire. After the user receives the short message warning Through the current network through the remote login web server to view the home situation and make corresponding processing, such as collecting live real-time photo video, timely alarm, remote control of home appliances.

In this design, the structure of the system network includes three parts: the home intelligent control system, the home subsystem and the external network. The home intelligent control system + the home subsystem constitutes the home internal network. The design is based on the home internal network.

The system is divided into two parts: the home intelligence control system and the home subsystem.

1) The part of the home intelligent control system, namely the main controller: mainly includes the FPGA core board design. The main modules are: USB camera; GPRS module; H.264 video compression technology and other related power management circuits, LCD displays, buttons, etc.;

2) The family subsystem part: including the infrared appliance control sub-module, the electronic access control sub-module, the temperature test sub-module and the switch quantity control sub-module, the four sub-modules are independent of each other, and form the home subsystem network through the RS485 bus.

The system design is mainly divided into five large modules, namely: embedded system development platform building module; camera monitoring module; GPRS remote communication module; WEB server module; smart home appliance control module.
