[High-tech LED News] Taiwan Industrial Association SEMI has announced that the LED Light Bar measurement standard used by the LED backlight module in the world's first LCD monitor, which is led by Taiwan, has passed.
The standard is based on the cooperation of upstream and downstream operators in Taiwan's display industry, including AUO, Jingyuan Optoelectronics, Zhimao and ITRI's measurement center. It integrates the US, China and Korea through the SEMI international industrial technology standard platform. According to the introduction, the measurement standard passed this time defines a two-dimensional image analysis method, which can calculate multi-point brightness at the same time, and can accurately detect the offset ç‘•ç–µ of the LED Light Bar, shorten the detection time, and simultaneously perform optical and mechanical Design testing. The development of this measurement standard will have three major economic benefits for the flat panel display industry, including: upstream and downstream operators will have clear specifications and the same communication language, reduce disputes; test environment and method are clearly defined, and LEDs can be more accurately analyzed.
