LED lamps with brightness equivalent to 1 kW metal halide lamps will be launched

Launched by Toshiba Lighting Technology Co., Ltd., it is mainly used in high ceiling spaces such as large factories and warehouses. It achieves the same brightness with 412 watts (average power consumption of 365 watts), and the power consumption can be reduced by about 65%. The product is equipped with an initial illuminance compensation function that suppresses excessive brightness at the beginning of use and maintains the same brightness at the end of its life. In addition, a continuous dimming function of about 5 to 100% is built in, which further saves energy.

In addition to the 1 kW product, it will be available in a small, lightweight product equivalent to 250 watts (103 watts, average power consumption of 91 watts) and 400 watts (206 watts, 182 watts of power). It is understood that the brightness products are equipped with two kinds of light distribution models, that is, wide-angle light distribution that widely illuminates the wall surface to enhance the brightness, and medium-angle light distribution that pays attention to the ground illumination.
