Shandong LED green lighting energy-saving rate as high as 63%

A few days ago, an enterprise energy-saving project undertaken by Shandong Electric Power Research Institute passed acceptance. On-site data shows that the energy-saving rate of the project is as high as 63%, achieving a win-win situation of social energy saving and enterprise efficiency.

Luzhi Energy Saving Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Shandong Electric Power Research Institute, signed an energy-saving contract with Shandong Huiquan Industrial Co., Ltd. at the end of last year, and used contract energy management to transform the Huiquan garments for workshop lighting. The contract energy management aims to replace the traditional high-energy fluorescent lighting with “LED green lighting” through energy-saving transformation to create an environmentally-friendly, efficient, safe and economical lighting system, and to reduce the power consumption by improving lighting efficiency. Through field tests, after installation of LED energy-saving lamps, the user's workbench illuminance increased by an average of 62%, and the aisle illuminance increased by an average of 50%. According to the current average electricity consumption of users, after the project is completed, it can save about 740,000 kWh in total within 5 years, saving about 670,000 yuan in electricity costs.
